1. What is BackVerse?
- BackVerse is a buyer classifieds website. Buyers can create a classified of an item they want, while specifying price, quality, etc., and watch sellers compete to give them the best offer. Sellers can search the site for willing buyers of their products and make offers on their classifieds. And there are no fees!
2. How do I create a classified?
- Click the "Create a Classified" button at the top right of the page.
3. How do I view all the classifieds I have made?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page. To view all the classfieds you have made, click the link "Buyer Activity" on the sidebar.
4. How do I view all the offers made to my classifieds?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page. Then click the link "Buyer Activity" and click on the classified whose offers you would like to view.
5. How do I choose a winning offer for my classified?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page. Then click the link "Buyer Activity" and click "Choose a winner" on the row of the classified you would like to choose a winner for. Then click "Choose as winner" on the row of the offer you would like to choose as the winner and click "Ok" to confirm.
6. How do I make an offer?
- Click on the classified you would like to make an offer on. At the bottom of the classified will be an "Make an offer" form.
7. How do I view all the offers I have made?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page and click the link "Seller Activity"..
8. How do I cancel an offer I made?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page. Then click the link "Seller Activity" and click "Cancel offer" on the row of the offer you would like to cancel.
9. How do I know if I was chosen as the winning offer for a classified?
- Click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page. Then click the link "Seller Activity" and look under the "Successful Offers" heading.
10. How do I contact the buyer or seller?
- You can use BackVerse's messaging system. First, you must login, and then you can do one of two things. You can click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page, click the link "Messages", and then click "Send Message". The other option is to click the user's name to access their profile page. Then click "Send message to (username)," follow the on-screen instructions, and click "Send message."
11. How do I pay for what I want to buy?
- This is outside BackVerse's domain of intervention. While we do not participate in the payment process, you can use BackVerse's messaging system to contact the seller or buyer to complete the transaction.
12. How do I get the money for what I sell?
